Since its founding in 2008, Great Kids Farm has been fortunate to have a committed and wide range of supporters. We, the Great Kids Farm community, are extremely grateful for the financial resources, the materials and equipment, the incredible volunteer hours and the critical advice and moral support the farm has received from a broad base of people and institutions in Baltimore and across the country.

Financial and Material Support
These visionaries contributed key financial resources early in the Farm's development:
Others contributed animals, equipment and materials:
Harvest Festival Sponsors
Institutional Partners
There is a burgeoning web of sustainable agriculture projects in the Batlimore region. We could not do our good work without partnering with the organizations that lead these efforts:
Advisory Committee
Volunteers
Growing nearly three acres of organic vegetables and flowers, inoculating more than 100 mushroom logs, raising four beehives and planting nearly a half-acre of fruits and berries would not have been possible without the tremendous amount of volunteer hours put in at the farm.
Volunteers at Great Kids Farm represent numerous diverse communities:
- More than 3,000 City Schools students and staff
- 20 high school and college-aged interns
- 50 vocational trainees from the Baltimore Youth Apprenticeship Program, an agro-hospitality work and career preparation summer program for young people soon to age out of foster care
- Community groups, businesses and religious congregations that have provided more than 500 volunteers for
service day projects.
-
Business Volunteers Unlimited has provided invaluable leadership in organizing
corporate service days at Great Kids Farm.
Customers for our Food
We are grateful for the early and continued support of local restaurants, our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) members and farmer's market customers. Special thanks to these restaurant owners for their support of Great Kids Farm by buying our produce and showcasing us on their menus:
