Directions: From the west side of the Baltimore beltway (I-695) take the exit for Route 40 west, Ellicott City. Go west on Route 40 (Baltimore National Pike) past Rolling Road. Watch for a green and white sign in the median strip reading: “Next Signal Nuwood Drive”. At this light get into the left hand turn lane (there will be a Pep Boys on the left just before the signal). There is a sign at the beginning of the road for the Bragg Nature Study Center. This road will pass a small auto mechanics garage followed by the yard for Woodlawn Bus Company on the left. It will bend to the right. Follow it to the top of the hill. Buses can unload near a long narrow building. If you come to the entrance for Patapsco State Park you have gone too far on Route 40.
